The Hammond & Hammond Story
Ron and Lynda started their property management careers when they bought their first investment property in 1970. Ron became a licensed Real Estate Agent in 1977 and a Real Estate Broker in 1982. Several of their friends and relatives saw how successful they had become and asked if they would manage their property as well. Then, in 1984 Hammond & Hammond, Inc. was incorporated and the rest is history. For over 30 years they have built a reputation of providing honest, experienced and professional property management service.
Jim Hammond started working with his parents at the age of 15, helping in the office where he was needed and learning the business. At 16 he was helping his Father by doing property inspections for the US Marshall Service. Jim worked in the Hammond & Hammond, Inc. maintenance department for six years, and at 21 started working in the New Accounts/Marketing department. He received his Real Estate Salespersons license in 1997. Since then, Jim has been taking new lease listings, signing up property management accounts, showing available properties and assisting clients with all aspects of real estate management. Jim is a member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM), and has attended annual conferences for over 15 years where he earned the Residential Management Professional (RMP) designation. He is now the Broker/Owner of Hammond & Hammond, Inc.
Joanna started working at Hammond & Hammond, Inc. during her senior year in high school. She continued to work in the accounting department while attending college. In 1999, Joanna graduated from California State University Northridge (CSUN) with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy. She then left Hammond & Hammond to work for KPMG, one of the largest accounting firms, where she became a licensed CPA. After four years, Joanna took some time off to have a baby with her husband and high school sweetheart…you guessed it – Jim Hammond. Joanna returned to work at Hammond & Hammond, Inc. and is now a licensed Real Estate Broker and co-owner. She is also a member of NARPM and attends annual conferences.
Frank Gallucci started working for Hammond & Hammond, Inc. in 1994. As a result of his hard work, dedication and professionalism, he quickly worked his way up from answering phones to being a Property Supervisor and now is the General Manager. Frank obtained his Real Estate License in 1999 and is now a licensed Real Estate Broker. He is also a member of NARPM and holds the RMP designation, as well as attending NARPM annual conferences. Frank was a board member of the North Los Angeles Chapter of NARPM 2002-2006 and was President in 2005.
